Ever since I started to train at Evolution Gym earlier this year it has been a superb experience. All the staff is affable and supportive. I cannot hold any reservations for this gym and the instructor Brandon is a patient man. I appreciate him going around and correcting techniques from students. What is imperative is to learn the Muay Thai Techniques to be effective.
Straight Up Spartan training
What an experience I reccomend anyone who feels as if they want to take them selves to the next level.I had a wonderful time what a Positive environment along with positive people that don't judge you just because you may not be on there level.Everyone you train with you learn from and this is the key to a true family..I can't wait to return because like fine wine I will only get better in time...
I'm any inspiring fighter, looking for chance to make my way as proclaim professional fighter. The monument I step in the gym, all could smell In the air was hard work, which I was in quest for. But Meeting the staff wasn't to difficult to do, because they all welcomed me as if I wasn't a stranger, which I was. Only to the gym, but not the lifestyle of hard work which I felt, soon as the timer went off for my first evolution class which mentally I was ready for but much on the physical department. But not to far after, that the compassion of evolution ( meaning the staff and clientele) push me past my limits and we more the generous to help me find new ones. So I defiantly will be back to see what limits I break within my self and my up coming career!
I'm not a member. I was gym shopping and the first time I went I came on my own. Then the last couple of times I was invited by Brandon and Angela. Even though I don't belong to the gym they still treated me nice and I felt like I was home. He is very technical, picks up on mistakes in a heartbeat, and of course his personality makes the most exhausting classes a bit more fun. It's a great workout! I know this this place will get me in badass shape. I am digging Evolutions and I will be officially joining this week to pursue a career in fighting.
Evolution Best Team Ever!!!

amazing training session
Great training session in bbj mma class. inspired to train there andget better. very respectful, intense yet friendly towards me as a begginer. highly recomend it. i will be back tomorrow.
Being a fighter without a gym is a weird feeling but thanks to #Evolution for opening their doors so I can train with the team, it was a friendly environment and im definitely looking forwards to my next visit
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GYM.
Very good gym. Lots of equipment. A LOT better than the few I've been on in the past. Very welcoming. The instructor is cool constantly giving you pointers and the classmates also share tips if they notice any faults. I like the ladder system they have. ive been to other mma gyms and they have 1 muay thai class for everyone (beginner-fighters) which can sometimes be counter productive. I've only been to the muaythai class and def. signing up this Friday. The price is really good. Slightly higher than my last boxing gym but not a problem considering you will be learning A LOT more. The auto pay is convenient (for me) $180/m for UNLIMITED CLASSES. They clean the gym EVERY evening (something the last mma gym I went to in queens didn't do). They also sell apparel for men and women. You get a great workout and can learn a lot. PREPARE TO SWEAT! I highly recommend it. Can't say anything bad about this gym. Was very impressed. Looking forward to my next class. Don't waste your money on another gym.
Great facility to train, friendly staff and serious martial artists. Great place to spar and very technical Muay Thai. All around awesome place to train definitely will be back soon.
its fkn great
I have trained for almost 2 years, kinda on and off- Its a great fkn work out and Brandon is very attentive to student needs- he's regularly circulates the floor while people practice techniques and gives tips/makes corrections/gives encouragement-just like a teacher should in real school;) Its among the best deal for your dollar in martial arts school in NYC that I have come across- there is a lot of student diversity in terms of martial arts people and people from random walks of fitness or lack their of. The instructors are all excellent, and each have their own style of teaching and they are strong as fuck, very knowledgeable about their craft, and they aren't arrogant martial arts pricks enamored with their trophies (maximum floor space is used for teaching/I've tried some schools here where almost half of floor is wasted on the instructor's/school's trophies:0). They are willing to answer questions after class after class- no regrets here except for missing a bunch of classes at one point
